Jennifer has been hosting international students since 2016. She and her husband weren’t ready to be empty nesters and wanted to open their home to students who needed a safe place to live while attending school to improve their English. Their fourth child and first student overlapped by a few months, and they’ve been hosting ever since. To date, they have hosted over 35 students. They are parents to four children and grandparents to four more.

Jennifer’s background is in broadcasting, namely TV and radio, where she led a team of 12 people in four cities in two provinces.  More recently, she has returned to university and has achieved a certificate in Marriage, Family, and Human Relations. She used what she had learned as she worked with CHN as a Relationship Manager, and has more recently moved into the role of Program Lead.
