“Michelle joined CHN after a diverse career that spanned many fields, as well as many countries. One of Michelle’s major passions in life is travel, which blossomed after she participated in the Katimavik program, travelling to three different provinces in Canada to undergo nine months of volunteer work. Michelle holds a diploma in Travel and Tourism, as well as a degree in Anthropology and Communications and has traveled as far as Australia, where she lived for a year, working in event management.

In recent years, Michelle has spearheaded research on women’s health advocacy in Eastern Africa, and has continued her volunteer passions with various local, non-governmental organizations. In her spare time, Michelle can be found outdoors: biking, running, kayaking or going for a hike with friends.”
