“Samira joined CHN in early 2020 as a Host Interviewer in Toronto. She has academic backgrounds in both computer science and organizational psychology. As a new immigrant, she moved to Canada from Iran in 2018 and landed in Saskatchewan first. She has experience working with immigrants and refugees in settlement agencies in Saskatchewan and has helped newcomers to adapt to life in Canada.

Samira has a passion for encouraging people for healthy lifestyles, which manifests itself in her volunteer yoga classes at the YMCA and COSTI refugee shelters. Mountain climbing, camping, and other outdoor activities are her interests.”
