“Jaclyn joined the CHN team in 2022. She was born and raised outside of Tillsonburg, Ontario, where she enjoyed working outdoors on the cherished family farm. Jaclyn pursued an education in Recreation & Leisure Services, as well as Recreation & Business Studies, at Fanshawe College and the University of Waterloo. She is also a licensed Ontario security guard and is certified and trained in crisis response, criminology, internet safety & security and mental health first aid.

Jaclyn comes to us with over a decade spent in the healthcare and social services field and has spent several years volunteering as a Crisis Responder (as well as a Team Leader) with Victim Services of London-Middlesex.

Jaclyn thoroughly appreciates the opportunity to travel and has previously spent time in Croatia, Poland, Belgium, Holland and England, as well as Canada’s beautiful west coast in British Columbia. She has a passion for learning and experiencing various cultures of the world.

Jaclyn is a huge hockey enthusiast and has previously played competitively in Ontario. She enjoys being active by playing sports and exercising. She also likes to engage in advocacy and charitable work when she can. She loves animals and spending time with her three rescues. Her other hobbies include DJing, playing guitar, crafting, and cooking.”
