Erica Laliberty embraces the role of Executive Administrator, supporting Canada Homestay Network’s Managing Director and leadership team. Within this role, she is Secretary to the Board of Directors and Chair of the Scholarship Committee.

Joining Canada Homestay Network in 2015, Erica initially held the role of Relationship Manager in Lethbridge, Alberta after a 10-year career in business administration which had given her a breadth of experience within the corporate world. While being an RM throughout her first four years with CHN, Erica continued to work at Lethbridge School Division in the complementary role of Administrative Assistant within the division’s International Services department, giving her a unique insight into the experiences of the students from abroad. Erica also has experience working with CHN Go Global, as Program Manager, coordinating exchanges between Canadian and foreign students.

The daughter of immigrants, Erica is from a large and culturally diverse family. She loves to view the world through the eyes of others and believes strongly in making the world a smaller and more connected place through cultural exchange.

Erica acknowledges, with gratitude and respect the traditional territories and oral practices of the Blackfoot nations, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai peoples as well as the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
