Gilmour Gilmour, Relationship Manager - Eastern Canada

Katy joined CHN in March 2022 as a Relationship Manager in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Before CHN, Katy worked as an Emergency Care Worker for the Canadian Red Cross, assisting in the mass Vaccination effort against Covid-19. She went to college on a soccer scholarship in Kentucky and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, as well as going on to complete training to become a certified Firefighter, and has spent time volunteering with local departments.

Katy also lived in Sweden for 2.5 years, where she worked and played soccer. These experiences can help Katy relate to international students studying and working abroad for the first time, as well as the challenges of learning a new language and being away from family and friends.

In her spare time, Katy enjoys going on hikes, playing soccer and softball, and travelling!
