“Maria started with CHN as Placement Coordinator in 2017. She moved to Canada from Venezuela in 2005. A year before moving to Canada, Maria spent a month in Toronto as an international student. She immediately fell in love with Canada. Maria finished high school in Canada and later went to University of Calgary where she received her B.A. in Psychology. Soon after, Maria worked in Spain as an English Teaching Assistant for a year, before moving back to Calgary, AB.

Maria spends her evenings and weekends playing with her very active son. She enjoys playing soccer and golf with her young family, as well as hiking and exploring the mountains. She is looking forward to working with the team, the students, and hosts. She is excited to help international students have a great experience in our beautiful country.”
