“Méla joined CHN in 2011. She first served as Relationship Manager and then as Regional Director for the Eastern Canada programs for 7 years and Director of Operations for 3 years. While reporting to the Managing Director in her role as Director of Operations, Méla had been contributing to CHN’s operational functions and strategic direction as well as to policy work, client relationship management, business development in addition to being a member of the Finance Committee. She now fills the shared role of Managing Director with colleague Michel Kahwaji.

Putting her analytical, organizational, and communication skills to the service of CHN nation-wide, Méla has been accountable for delivering clear results on a daily, quarterly and yearly basis, while keeping in alignment with the organization’s multi-year plans.

Méla’s gifts working with people were refined during 15 years of successful experience in communications, media and public relations, and linguistics fields with the Government of Canada and the CBC. Méla lives with her family in Ottawa.”
