Paciulan Paciulan, Host Ambassador - Eastern Canada

Melissa joined CHN as a Relationship Manager in 2018 and continues as a Host Ambassador. Before joining the CHN team, she worked providing legal and settlement support to refugee claimants and collaborated on a research project documenting the gendered experiences of temporary foreign workers in Canada.  Melissa has studied and worked abroad extensively, first as an international homestay student in Spain and later for almost 8 years teaching ESL and working in Mexico. She is also an immigrant to Canada and initially came to this amazing country as an international student!  She is fully bilingual in Spanish and English and loves language learning, cooking and traveling. She lives in Guelph with her husband Oscar and their two children.
