Smith Smith, - Eastern Canada

After spending a year as an exchange student, Rachel fell in love with the appreciation, awareness and understanding that immersion in international cultures can bring, and also recognizes the challenges that students can face. After completing university, and with a strong belief that learning happens just as much outside the classroom, as it does inside the classroom, Rachel spent almost 15 years working in the education sector. Before joining CHN, Rachel worked in Student Services at a Canadian satellite campus in the UK, and made it her mission to ensure that every student left their program having had the best experience possible. This is something that she is very passionate about and which fuels her career goals. Rachel hopes to inject the same sense of awe and appreciation, and fulfilment socially and culturally, to international students studying and living in Canada as she had when studying and travelling overseas.
