Ximena joined our team at the beginning of 2016 as the first Relationship Manager for our program in Winnipeg. She moved from Mexico to Canada at 18 years of age to study Anthropology at the University of Manitoba. Ximena has significant experience working and volunteering with different immigration agencies, and individuals with mental disabilities. She now resides in Kelowna, BC where she serves CHN as a Care & Support Representative.

Ximena is very passionate about multiculturalism and population movements. She loves traveling and the many different challenges and experiences that come with it. Ximena has a wonderful husband and a very loving wiener dog that brings lots of fun and laughter to their home. As a Relationship Manager, Ximena hopes to assist families and students alike; to create positive learning experiences and warm memories. She believes that exposing individuals to different cultural experiences can only help to build a world that is more understanding and flexible in its thinking.
